Description

All top 10 most famous dinosaurs in one drawing. Thanks to those who've had participated on my poll on facebook. I was originally going to make a poll and post it on DA but then I realized that :iconpaleop: already made one. Interestingly enough is that both of my and Paleop's poll got the same result. Coincidence ? Oh wait, no. Archaeopteryx was a tie with parasaurolophus in my poll, but after I combined with Paleop's poll result, Parasaur got voted the most. Poor Archae, it almost got to the top 10. So here are the insanely famous dinosaurs on the drawing. These guys have had showed on movies, books, games, toys, documentaries, even anime, and many more. These famous dinosaurs are :

1. Tyrannosaurus rex
Ah yes, the most charismatic dinosaur ever. Since its discovery, the name itself was already "irresistable to everyone's tongue". It later became even more famous thanks for its role in Jurassic Park.

2. Triceratops horridus
This three horned face is among the most well-known dinosaurs. Usually being showed with Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops usually being depicted on a climactic showdown with the tyrant lizard king.

3. Brontosaurus excelsus
After 112 years being a synonym of another quite popular dinosaur, Apatosaurus, this neck hammer finally become valid once again. After its validation on 2015, Brontosaurus claimed back its fame. Still, not all people know about Brontosaurus revalidation. *sigh*

4. Stegosaurus stenops
By far the one of the most iconic dinosaurs of all time, Stegosaurus got its popularity for its appearance on many books and movies. This roofed lizard also famously depicted on a battle with Allosaurus.

5. Velociraptor mongoliensis
Since its appearance on Jurassic Park, Velociraptor instantly became famous, although it was actually Deinonychus that was in the movie (Heck, the one in the movie was to damn large, and in real life no paleontologist know what it is).

6. Ankylosaurus magniventris
The largest ankylosaurid, ankylosaurus got its fame for being showed in many medias. Just like Triceratops, this heavily armoured dinosaur tend to be depicted on a fight with Tyrannosaurus

7. Brachiosaurus altithorax
Again, thanks to Jurassic Park, which showed this brachiosaurid on one of its famous scene on the movie itself, Brachiosaurus managed to reach the top 10 famous dinosaurs.

8. Spinosaurus aegyptiacus
During the World War 2, all of the remains of this spine lizard were destroyed, leaving Spinosaurus forgotten. But (yet another) thanks to Jurassic Park ///, Spinosaurus became insanely well-known on public.

9. Parasaurolophus walkeri
Despite mostly being showed as a background dinosaur on many movies (*cough* Jurassic Park *cough* Disney's Dinosaur *cough*), Parasaurolophus got its place on this list and became the one of the most famous ornithopod of all time.

10. Allosaurus fragillis
Mostly know as the lion of the Late Jurassic era, this carnosaur is famous thanks to its role in Walking With Dinosaur. Allosaurus usually depicted terrorizing or fighting Brontosaurus and Stegosaurus.

I do not own all the skeletal and pose reference I used. They are all belonged to :iconscotthartman:, :icongetawaytrike:, :iconfranoys:, and :iconpaleo-king:. The poses I found on the internet are belonged to their respective owners. I'm very sorry for the absolutely fucked up sizes I drew here :(

PLEASE READ, IMPORTANT!
The drawing I drew here is not yet  coloured, I will colour it later when I have much more time. while waiting for it, I'm making a contest on colouring this drawing for those who're good at digital drawing. The contest starts now until the next two weeks. You can post the drawing on your DA page and credit me there. I will post the entries here rizkiusmaulanae.deviantart.com…. There will be no prizes, this is just for fun. For more details, please contact me.  I'll wait your entries :D
Just a note, the tail behind the Stegosaurus is Brachiosaurus's tail, not Spinosaurus's.

I find it funny no one puts Diplodocus in their top 10, although everyone knows what it is, even non dino fans, while some people still can't tell Brachiosaurus and Brontosaurus apart
